Join us on the farm to celebrate Mothers Day with a magical tea ceremony and lots of whimsical fun. The Tea Ceremony will be facilitated by Master Herbalist Leanda Witchwood of Witchwood Teahouse.
Tea ceremonies are about caring – Caring for yourself – mind, body & soul as well as the environment.
Tea is deeply integrated into the human experience. After all, tea was our ancestors’ first form of medicine. Today tea is much more than a practical therapy for relieving congestion, soothing anxiety, and cooling heartburn. Take a moment and think about the feelings you experience when you brew and hold a cup of tea in your hands. Your mind, body, and spirit awaken as your connection to nature, and the healing properties of plants ignite.
Tea is pleasure and comfort! It is health and wellness. It inspires us to consider the whole of our being; mind, body, and spirit and how nature plays an essential role in our welfare.
Guest will be able to choose their own special teacups to use for the ceremony. After we drink our tea guest will use their teacups to make a beautiful succulent planter to take home with them.
We will have yummy treats to eat and a photo booth to remember our special day. We are encouraging guest to wear their most fun, whimsical, beautiful outfits. Nothing is “too much” for this day. Wear that big hat, that fancy dress, or fairy costume. Whatever makes you feel good and beautiful 💖
Big Oak Farms is a beautiful 80-acre farm located in Dillsburg, PA. The event will be beautifully decorated by Heirloom 23. Guest are welcome to explore the property, stroll around the pond, and feed the ducks.
